hi !
No matter how many times I read the manual for the MAPED program, I still really don't understand it...!
Maybe I'm the only one who doesn't understand it!!I understand how to load a tileset, but what do I do next to create the map (.lvl file as I understand)?
If I load a map (the demo one, for example), how can I view it and edit it? All I can see on the screen is the tileset...As for “layers”, since I'm not a game developer, I don't really understand what they're used for.Would it be possible to make, in the future, a short video tutorial?

Middle click to swap between the tileset and the map ! That's the key
FYI In imaged I used the same middle click shortcut to swap between the main image and the working buffer. Just in case you need it.

OK! I skimmed the manual too quickly again!
After reading it more carefully, I get how layers work now: you can use them however you like.
Sorry for the unnecessary question!
